Steps to make Ragi Savory Porridge / Ragi koozh:
  1. Mix ragi flour with water in a thick bottomed pan. Ensure there are no lumps.
  2. Keep the pan in medium flame and stir continuously
  3. After 3-4 minutes, it will start to thicken. Keep stirring in low flame. Add the required salt.
  4. Once the water is evaporated and the porridge has thickened nicely, switch off the flame.
  5. Let it cool for 10 minutes
  6. Add the beaten curd, small onions and green chillies. Mix well and serve.

This is a very healthy recipe & My Mother-in-Law prepares this during hot summer! She is an excellent cook in the preparation of traditional dishes.
