The ingredients needed to make Onion Bhaji Pakora:
- Make ready 1 kg Red Lentils
- Get 5 Onions
- Make ready 1 little bit of Coriander
- Make ready 1 handfull of green chilli
- Take 3 1/2 Tbsp Hot Curry powder
- Take 1 tbsp salt
- Prepare 1/4 tsp tumeric powder
- Take Oil to fry
Instructions to make Onion Bhaji Pakora:
- Soak Red lentils overnight in water 1. Once soaked overnight, wash all thoroughly.
- Now place half of your lentils in a blender!
- Blend away on low making sure you don't over blend it it should be quite mushy and not too liquidy.
- Now blend the other batch the same way!
- Now cut up your green chillies and onions and place in a bowl and coriander
- Mix salt and Curry powder with your onion green chilli and coriander mix
- Add in your red lentils and tumeric powder to the Curry mix.
- Now heat your oil on high
- Once oil is hot, with your hands, pick up a little bit of Bhaji mix and drop into oil carefully.
- You can fit around at least 8 at a time depending on how big you make it!
- Take out when it becomes slight brown rather than golden
