  3. Whip the chilled curd. Add sugar and salt to taste.
  4. Heat the mustard oil in a tadka pan, add the mustard seeds, asafoetida, green chillies, garlic and curry leaves. Allow it to crackle until the garlic turns golden brown.
  5. Add the pumpkin to the curd, gently mix and pour the sizzling tadka on top.
  6. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander and serve with a regular Indian meal.
