It is really a very basic recipe pf sabudana mixture or chivda that you can change as per taste. To make sabudana chivda you need larger variety of sago known as nylon sago. While nylon sago is preferred you can also use regular ones if you have only that. Mix well and turn off the stove.

Steps to make Sabudana mixture/Sago mixture:
  1. Heat the kadai in medium Low flame with one tbsp of oil. Add the sabudana and roast it till fully puffed. Transfer it into the bowl.
  2. Now add 1tbsp of oil and roast all nuts one by one and mix it with puffed sago.
  3. Finally add pinch off Asafoetida, turmeric, chilli powder and salt. Mix well all together.
  4. Now the crispy sabudana mixture is ready to taste.

Remove from moulds and serve cold. Sabudana or sago kulfi is just what you need to treat yourself with a delicious, cold, creamy and milky treat in this sweltering weather. Let the mixture come to room temperature then add the cumin seeds and the chili flakes/ pepper powder. Grease a plate or a thick plastic sheet. Pour a spoonful of mixture and spread out gently.
