How to make Sago Potato Rolls-Deep fried sago and potato rolls flavoured with roasted peanuts. The mashed potatoes make these rolls light as a feather. They are easy because you don't have to knead them and you can make them up to a day before you need them–baking them right before you. Ingredients Sago (sabudana) Potatoes,boiled and mashed Roasted peanuts,crushed Green chillies,chopped Ginger,chopped Lemon juice Fresh coriander leaves.
Instructions to make Sago Potato Rolls:
- Wash sago 3 times in water. Soak sago in sufficient water for 4 hours. After 4 hours Drain excess water and keep aside.
- Dry roast peanuts in a karahi. Remove it's skin. Grind in a mixer to a coarse powder.
- Boil, peel and grate potatoes.
- Wash and Chop ginger and coriander leaves.
- Now take a mixing bowl. Put soaked sago and grated potatoes. Mix it. Add powdered peanuts, chopped ginger, coriander leaves, salt, black pepper and jeera. Mix all the ingredients well and make a dough.
- Now take small portion of dough and roll with the help of your palms in the shape of a roll. Like wise make all the rolls.
- Heat ghee in a wok. Place rolls in the wok and deep fry on medium flame till golden brown. Flip the side and fry from the other side also. Likewise, fry all the rolls.
- Serve hot with tamarind chutney.
