Steps to make Sago Idli:
- Wash and Soak rice, urad Daal and fenugreek seeds in a bowl for 4 hours. 1. Wash and Soak sago in separate bowl for 4 hours.
- After 4 hours Drain water and grind rice and Daal slightly coarse. Transfer it in a mixing bowl.
- Drain water from sago and grind finely like a paste. Transfer it in the same mixing bowl in which rice Daal is kept.
- Keep this mixture covered for 8 hours. After 8 hours it will be fermented. Now add salt according to taste and whisk the batter thoroughly for 5 minutes. It will become lighter.
- Add 1 glass of water in pressure cooker and heat it to boiling point.
- Now grease idli mould properly and pour 1 tb spoon batter in each mould. Put it in pressure cooker and steam for 12 minutes.
- After 12 minutes switch off the flame. Open the lid after 10 minutes and remove idlis with the help of knife and keep in a plate.
- Serve hot with sambhar.
