  1. Get 1 cup Grated carrot
  2. Take 1/2 cup Cottage cheese (paneer)
  3. Make ready 1/4 cup Milk powder
  4. Make ready to taste Brown sugar
  5. Get 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
  6. Make ready 1 tbsp Desi ghee/butter (I have used ghee)
  7. Prepare 1 cup Milk
  8. Make ready 1/4 cup Soaked sago
  9. Prepare 2 tbsp dessicated coconut for making ladoos
  10. Take 2 tbsp dessicated coconut for coating the ladoos

The white sago variety is only suitable for this ladoo, do not use nylon sago. Roasting sago is a very important step here, do it in low flame with patience as it takes time. Instructions to make Carrot and sago Ladoos:
  1. Take a pan, heat ghee then add the grated carrot and saute till the raw smell of carrot leaves and it becomes soft, then add milk and mix it well till the milk gets absorbed by the carrot.
  2. Then add cottage cheese, milk powder and mix well then add sugar, Soaked sago and mix till the carrot mixture don't stick to the edges and comes to the center of the pan.
  3. Then add cardamom powder and dessicated coconut and mix it well and make ladoos.
  4. Then coat the ladoos with dessicated coconut.
  5. It is ready to serve.

Carrot Laddu is a Delicious Sweet. My little girl loves anything with carrot that is another reason i chose to make these carrot ladoos. Carrot Laddu is prepared by sauting grated carrot in ghee. Coconut is added for extra flavour. Finally addition of nuts powder add in richness to the laddu.
