- Make ready 1 cup Sago(Sabudanna) washed and soaked for 1/2 hr

This is one of Pinoy's favorite salad drink dessert. Steps to make Sago Milk and jelly drink:
- Make mango jelly as per instructions on the pack. When made divide in two containers. Put 2 drops green colour in one of them and mix. 1 container will have yellow and other container has green jelly keep aside to set as per instructions. 1. Boil 3-4 cups of water in a pan.Put sago in it and cook for about 15 minutes or till sago becomes soft and transparent and has white dot on it.Off the flame strain sago and pour cold water on it and keep aside.
- In a pan boil milk add sugar cook till sugar melts. Then add the boiled sago. Cook till it becomes more soft and transparent. Keep aside to cool. Now add only a drop of green colour to sago milk and 1- 2 drops of Rose essence and mix. Keep in the fridge.
- Cut the jelly in cubes when set.
- Take a glass put yellow jelly then Sago milk and green jelly on top. Sago milk and jelly drink is ready to serve. Enjoy.
Sago in coconut milk and also known as "Sai Mai Lo" in Cantonese. You'll find it on the dessert in every Chinese restaurant. Sometimes it is even complimentary after a Chinese banquet. At dim sum restaurants they sometimes serve it as a drink over layered jelly cups. If I had a party I would make the jelly cups method π Its soooo.
