Today I am making stir fried chicken chow mein easy. This recipe is similar to the way my local Chinese Take Out restaurant makes it. It is much less greasy than Chinese takeout! You can also customize this recipe by substituting your favorite protein.

  1. So wok on medium heat add your chopped garlic & Ginger, then add your chicken and let that start to cook for about 4 to 5 minutes. Next into the wok goes carrot, pepper, & Sugar snap peas and cook for a further 8 to 10 minutes stirring the ingredients togeather.
  2. Next add chicken stock to the wok stir through mix 2 minutes later make a well and add your noodles, as they soften stir through. Finally into a separate bowl add Seasame oil, Hoisin, Soy, 5 spice and flour, garlic salt mix together add to the wok, stir through and then serve.
