  6. Drain noodles and vegetables and toss with some vegetable oil and sesame oil to prevent sticking
  7. Divide into for bowls and drizzle the sauce over the noodles
  8. Let each guest mix well before eating. Serve with chilli oil, soy sauce and vinegar to taste

In China, noodles are served as breakfast or sometimes along with a meal with congee. The most famous and popular cold noodle in China is Sichuan style mala noodles. In that version, only a small amount of sesame paste is added, just for flavoring, no influence on the texture. Bring a pot of lightly salted water to boil. Drain, and transfer to a serving bowl.
