  6. Gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir for 1 minute more. Remove from heat.
  7. Gradually add American cheese and sharp cheddar cheese, stirring until melted.
  8. Cook pasta according to package directions, adding sweet peppers for the last 2 minutes of cooking; drain and return to pan.
  9. Add cheese sauce, mozzarella balls, and pepperoni to cooked pasta; stir to combine.
  10. Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish.
  11. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bread crumbs (if want bread crumbs).
  12. Bake, uncovered, about 30 minutes or until bubbly and browned.
  13. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
